Alan Windle简介:

现为剑桥大学材料科学与冶金系教授，他的研究领域包括纳米导管的合成、特性和属性测量，以及将这些技术与聚酯结合以便制造特殊材料。他曾任材料科学组组长及系主任，现在是剑桥—MIT研究院执行主任。

Professor Alan Windle FRS, is now in the Department of Materials Science and Metallurgy, University of Cambridge. His current research embraces nanotube synthesis, characterization and property measurement, as well as their incorporation in polymer matrices to generate composites as unique materials. He holds the chair of Materials Science in the University and after some years as Head of Department, he is now Executive Director of the Cambridge-MIT Institute(CMI).
