Professor Alan Hughes, is Margaret Thatcher Professor of Enterprise Studies at the Judge Institute of Management, Director of the ESRC Centre for Business Research, and a Fellow of Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge. His research is focused on the analysis of the growth, financing and innovative behaviour of small and medium sized enterprises, corporate governance, international mergers and the market for executives in large scale enterprise, as well as the design and evaluation of enterprise support policies including management training.
