Professor Peter Guthrie FREng, is currently Professor of Engineering for Sustainable Development at the University of Cambridge, having taken up the post in 2000. His research interests are sustainable development in major residential development, the criteria for more sustainable civil engineering projects, and the concept of no waste for industrial organizations. He is a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering, the Institution of Civil Engineers, and the City and Guilds Institute.
